How your allowance is used
The word allowance is shared across checks. A new standard review uses 100 allowance words per 100 eligible words, rounded up to whole blocks, and includes writing patterns and reference lookup. Source checks are requested separately and use 300 allowance words per 100 eligible words. Grammar suggestions use 100 per 100 eligible words in the selected passage.
Only new work uses allowance. Unchanged saved results reopen without charging again; changes may need new checks. Failed paid work releases reserved allowance. Your dashboard shows the remaining words and expiry.
Upload Word documents, text files or PDFs. Signed-in customers can read scanned PDF pages and check the extracted text before starting a paid review. Recognition can misread words, so check it carefully.
